What is the DFW Strong Community Event?

The DFW Strong Event will be a day to join the community to support law enforcement and pay tribute to the five men whose end of watch tragically ended on July 7, 2016. Funds raised from the event will be used to provide financial assistance to the families that have lost their loved ones as well as to provide aide to officers wounded in the line of duty during the attack.

The event itself will feature live music, celebrity chefs, silent auction, food trucks, celebrities and so much more. DFW Strong provides a way for the community to show support for our Blue family. More details are to follow.

What is Our Purpose?

We have always been big supporters of our first responders and our military. Without them, their support and their protection, our communities would never be safe. We would not have the freedoms to do the things that we are blessed to do. DFW strong started because our family was affected personally. The Godfather of our second son, Amado Martinez, and one of our close friends was stricken down. Patrick Zamarrapa was murdered that evening and Amado was here with us. To see the pain go through Amado really moved us.

Knowing how this incident has affected our whole entire community, Jay and I wanted to bring everyone together regardless of competitors, who you are, what your beliefs or your religions are, or what you practice. Bringing everybody together and taking care of the families of the men that put their lives on the line for us is most important. We also want to take care of the families that are in the hospital. We want to be there to serve them like they serve us each and every day. And then not only to do that but to make this go a step further and have a fund set up for future officers and first responders that need medical help. As well as to help the families in need of support after tragedies such as this one. To keep this thing going for years and years to come. We hope that this event will be a huge kickoff to something that will lead to bigger and better things in the future.

What All To Expect?
